Innovative Primary Building Elements
FrameCastTM is a manufacturing technology resulting in engineered structural and/or non-structural primary building elements. The concept is a new generation of primary building elements. The engineered structural component is integrated by encasing the “structural frame” in CemAirTM www.cemair.com. It is the CemAirTM Lightweight Cellular Concrete (LLC) that is designed and altered for application driven specifications and characteristics. The frame can be of any material, steel, timber or concrete that is engineered for its structural capacity. The CemAirTM can be cast at any thickness and density required.
Reinforcing can be added for specific requirements.
It is particularly compatible with Light Gauge Framing.
Lightweight and Steel Framed
FrameCast™ is supplied to the customer with consistent factory quality.
Characteristics of the FrameCast™ system are engineered for application. These include:
- STC (sound transmission class)
- Thermal mass
- R rating (insulation rating)
- FRL required (fire resistance level)
- blast proofing
- shock absorption
- earthquake zones
- BAL requirements for fire zones (bushfire attack level)
This is achieved by casting CemAir™ with the FrameCast™ structure.
Why Choose FrameCast™?

Cost Effective – lighter structure O/A saving from foundation to roof, lighter equipment for construction

Quicker Construction time – number of construction elements reduced – services can also be integral

Most characteristics, ie. FRL, STC, R rating etc. encompassed in the one monocoque element
